  • Do we lose an F stop using the adapter?

  • @tonyvelada

You will NOT lose any F stop when using the adaptor as it contains not optic and is designed for the lens design format.

    Thanks

    Stu

  • @borozonx

    Thank you for your note

The Voigtlander F adaptor will work with any Nikon F Mount lens as long as the lens has an aperture ring . otherwise you have no way to set a working aperture

I hope this answers your question

    regards

    Stu

  • Thank you for posting this. I have the GF1 and a Questar telescope and just received the adapter to connect the two. I was getting the "Check the lens..." message and started looking for an answer. Your explanation for using the Custom Menu is perfect. I am amazed at the first few photos I've taken with this setup. Thanks again!

  • Does that mean my Nikkor 12-24mm can be compatible with the GF1 if I use an adapter?

  • @borozonx thank you Stu for you attention!!
