Interesting note about Phantos (spelling?): When my dad used to play this game (yes, my dad played Mario XD), he'd put the key down, wait about a minute, then pick it back up again. This kept Phantos away for quite a while, because how long it took to return depended on how long you discarded the key. At least in the Pal Version.

after killing birdo that many times in Super Mario Bros. 2 yoshi was mad. thus super mario world was born. mario promised yoshi he'll get birdo and revenge on luigi because he needed to ride on him but yoshi refused. yoshi was mad at mario cuz mario lied and he kicked mario's butt at mario kart true story lol.
