Reid Dudley-Smith - Solo for Cracklebox

This is a live recording of my improvised solo composition for the Steim Cracklebox. The composition uses a purpose-built Max/MSP patch to record and trigger looping samples of the Cracklebox with a footpedal. The Cracklebox also has a Wii Remote attached to the back and uses the accelerometer functions to control the sample speed and pitch. The audio was recorded direct to cassette tape and transferred to the video in post production.
