Noah Finkster for a Jew you only know 1/2 of your history. I have correctly identified many of the reasons that Jews got involved in money lending. Banning Jews from a few professions & owning land didn't happened until 600 A.D. & Jews were money lenders well before that.

Modern banking dates back to the Roman Empire in the 1400s but money lending pre-dates modern banking by centuries. Jakehr3 crack open a history book you might learn something.

No you didn't explain how a greater % of Jews entered banking, you simply stated that there was a greater number....now coincidence is your answer? As you have rightfully point out Jews had a much bigger stake in money lending than Christians. If you look at the % of Jews who were money lenders as % of Jews the number is massive. Again this speaks to Jews historical contempt & disdain for Christians as second. If they saw as they brothers, Jews would never have loaned us $ as they would be breaking Levitical law. Of course as all God's children are brothers the did break & are breaking Levitical law.
