My verson of a classic spiritual on a tenor Fluke ukulele. In this, I improvise many of the runs on the uke. This version is a combination of sheet music I found at a book sale and a recorded version by Ernie Hawkins. Please enjoy and leave comments. Thank you!

  • No tabs, sry!

  • Stuff like this reminds me why I love the blues. Just wonderful.

  • Thank you!

  • Great picking! I was glad that you sang too, instead of just playing. I just bought a soprano Flea and hopefully someday I'll be able to play like you!! I love blues & folk on the ukulele.

  • Thanks! I have a Flea soprano too and it's great for da blues! This one was a bit high in my vocal register - so I'm starting to do some Johnny Cash songs! :)
