This seems to be the philosophy that supported this great singer, generous humanitarian to rise above the adversities that persisted throughout her life. Another great Froman song, with great appreciation, Dan.
Her biographies note that this was one of the songs Froman often included as she sang to wounded servicemen when she returned, in 1946, to fulfill her commitment to the USO - while still recovering from injuries she sustained in the 1943 plane crash. I've searched, and have never been able to find a recording of this. Thank you for a great treasure!
