Everything You Want - Vertical Horizon Cover

Hey guys! Since I've been attempting to survive college, I haven't found a ton of time to play my guitar. However, after watching the Boyce Avenue version of this song, I HAD to learn it, and while my version is merely a crude shadow of the original OR the Boyce Avenue version, it was still a loving attempt and a learning experience.

Sorry about the lack of talent at playing the guitar. I'm learning. Love my faults if you can.

You've got a lovely voice. I'd just recommend you to keep in time for the verse, everything sounds great at the chorus, but the verses are a bit off. Maybe some fingerpicking for those parts? Otherwise good job :)

I wouldn't say that you did a bad cover of it, I just think that you're singing it more like a ballad, but still playing at the same speed. I'd say try again and slow the song down a little more so you can match your playing to your style. You don't really sync up until the chorus, then go straight back to singing at a different pace. Good voice though.
