IN THEM OLD COTTON FIELDS BACK HOME.wmv Faults and all!

I have problems synchronising and levelling all the tracks. I could spend more money on a proper dubbing program and whilst at it, get a proper video camera. But then folk would say,
"So what? Another perfectly tooled video. I wonder how much that cost him? And look, he still sounds like crap! Ha-Ha!"
I'd rather do it this way and wait for the suggestions on how to do it better but just as cheaply and without any abbreviations or words with the full-stop in front of them!
I have tried layering the tracks by recording a new track with the other one playing 'live'. This solved the synch. problem but then I didnt have control over sound levels without a lot of re-recording.
I could improve the picture quality too by using more light - being involved in drama I have plenty of that available - but then I'll have to set up the backdrops and worry about the bed being in the picture and people complaining that they dont want to be seen lying in bed as a background to my videos! That would also mean changing my video category to adults only.Hmmmm?
Still, many of us only do this for the fun of it and I know what I wanted it to look/sound like and I wasn't too far off.
So, as we say, please comment. I do enjoy a bit of humiliation too but you've got to make it funny or I'll not play with you anymore!

Very good job, Geoff! I love this song I knew played by the Beach Boys, but I don't know who wrote it. Must be a popular and traditional one, I guess.

I'd really love to please you with a bit of funny humiliations, but it would be forced. So I'll wait for a new chance. :-) Thanks for sharing this.

Come to think of it, I remember the Beach Boys singing it. I notice from the 'related video' column, that it has been covered by a number of famed singers - apart from myself, of course!
