On Fake

What would you think about the job candidate, who is been wearing a fake stuff during the interview? Is he a liar? Cheater? Is he/she threat to your company?

It all depends on ones perspective. Fashion is an illusion. The glasses are plastic, whether we're talking about the designer or the "fake" ones. If no one knows or cares if it's "Cloe'", then it doesn't matter.

The fashion industry are the biggest cheats in the world. Those companies often (try to) make 1000% or more in profit margins on their clothes, cosmetics, iphones and other products that (try to) cheat the intellect of the masses of consumers to only sell them the idea of something that cost 10x more than it cost to manufacture.

I assume there is a difference between physical and non-physical (software piracy). I wonder if the mentality is the same. And that goes for the boobs as well. Does someone who has had their breast altered think of them as 'fake'?

Why even talk about the idea we have of ourselves. Maybe it's simply the fact that wearing fakes works, i.e. it's convey the social status whitout the cost that usually come with it. I've witnessed that cheating minimally works, since nobody caught me, then why not try it until I get caught, or at least until the risk of getting caught is not to high in relation to the reward.

I'd rather wear some cheap chinese shit than fake.
What does that tell about me? (Besides that I am not really rich.)
