I was able to modify it after making this video to double the rate-of-fire and have it empty the belts in less than five seconds, but yes, each individual round had very little power (Though back then it had the biggest belt cartridges yet seen. Take a look at my 'cyclone power test' video if you want to see the best I've been able to get so far with full-auto. Cyclone gets about 35 feet of range when firing yellows.

Ok, i've been wondering why cant they carefully lay the belt into a box like a real machine gun, rather having it dangling out.

The reason it's difficult to box the ammo is because each round has its own 'trigger' that stands out from the so-called cartridge. Don't want anything to really mess with that prior to its intended firing. The other reason is that the chains can only fold one way and not the other so you can't have a back-and-forth stack, only a twisting roll, and when you do that you run into the problem of things touching the triggers as the rolled-up ammo unravels itself.
