Harry and the band play a blues in "F" written by Thad Jones.

The chart features the brilliant Jack Perciful on piano, John Smith on bass and Dave Robbins on trombone.

During Harry's three choruses, he demonstrates his complete mastery of the trumpet, and that, as many people believe, Harry James could play the blues as well as anyone!!

Note that Dave Robbins and Harry play the same "Strauss' Till Eulenspiegel" lick at the end that they played at the end of "Flash" on the Hollywood Palladium album in 1953!!
