  • thanx that was very helpful

can you recommend me a book to learn french ?

  • Tough question! there are so many that it won't do any good recommending just one. Start with amazon[dot]com and try to read the ratings/comments posted by the buyers. I find this method very useful to find books and authors that suit my needs best. I'll let you know if a specific title comes up.

  • !! There're different E sounds..

AIN , EIN , IN, AIM, AI, EI

They all sound the same to meee!!!

They are all the same or they ain't?

Will a native french speaker note the difference?

  • AIN, EIN, IN, AIM sound just the same! For example, FIN (end) sounds like FAIM (hunger)

AI and EI also, although you may have some subtle variances among different french-speaking communities. But they do sound alike. Hope it helps. Merci
