The Bach-Werke-Verzeichnis (Bach Works Catalogue) is the numbering system identifying compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach. The prefix BWV, followed by the work's number, is the shorthand identification for Bach's compositions. The works are grouped thematically, not chronologically.
@MrYngwie88 its B W V - basically a catalogue number for music (i think bmv is more for baroque music) you have K which is more for german music and opus is also another cataloguing prefix so you have stuff like Op.1044 K.289 and BMV 1055 K = Kochel and BWV = Bach werke Verzeichnis oh and BMW (car) is bayerich motoren werke
@alienalienss I agree, this is not originally written for the flute, There is no such thing as a Flute Concerto by J.S.Bach, maybe he wrote one, but it didn't survive to time (1 out of 5 pieces by J.S. Bach got lost and destroyed), HOWEVER, I like to think of this lovely piece as if it had been written for the flute, I LOVE IT
Song is great, but I don't like the orchestra

This is a transcription of the Harpsichord Concerto in A major, BWV 1055.

Por la articulación absolutamente perfecta y la sobria interpretación yo también diría que el flautista es Jean Pierre Rampal.
