  • @wyretwister Do you know if the mounting plate of a F6L912 is the same as the one on a F4L912 (4 cylinder Deutz)?

  • What type of truck are you installing this engine in? Are you aware there were some factory produced GMC trucks with the same engine? They were produced in the early 80s I believe the trucks were 6500 GMC with 180 hp 6 912s. They used the oil to heat the heater core....will freezw you out in cold weather. My freiend added a 12 volt electric heater.

    Please post more pics. I have always thought of installing a 4cyl in a smaller truck for fuel effiecency.

  • That should be a badass truck when it gets done. Deutz is HARDCORE.
