Playing is decent. Tone needs a lot of work.
Check the net for info on EQing electric bass. It's counter-intuitive but will help a LOT. That said, I know that bass (T-40 I think) can really kick out the lows. Just don't choke the other freqs so hard.

Behold the holy vintage thunder. The tone is hard to hear at first, but through headphones it kicks ass! Nice playing too.
