hi can anyone tell me what is a better big shot?..the reg- big shot or the big shot shape?..i'm new to scrapbooking n want a good machine but not sure which to get,i will b using it on both paper n fabric..

Hi! I think this vid answered my question. I have a 12" border cookie cutter die by quickutz and no Revolution tool. The package doesn't say it's compatible with Sizzix machines and all I have is the Big Shot. Do I need that wafer adapter? and a longer platform and cutting mats? Thx, Julie

@cula603 You have to have metal dies to create your words. This machine doesn't take cartridges like the Cricut. Hope this helps, thanks for your question. Katie
@Marymugs If you are cutting the fabric with the Quicktuz dies, yes it will. You would need to adjust your sandwich based on the brand of dies used. Thanks for your question!
