  • I tried uploading part 1 of this episode but wmg and sony are still throwing their toys out the pram and muted the audio so deleted it. If yous want the full episodes of the rock n roll years goto the veoh video website, they have no issues with copyrighting

  • I LOVE THIS SERIES - I HAVE THE ENTIRE COLLECTION ON BLU-RAY. I WELCOME INTERESTED VIEWERS :o)

  • great way 2 learn about history

  • @Feisty1967 totally agree with you great times especially the music.Iwas only young in this year but it is full of so many happy memories

  • @Feisty1967

I think the point you make is a good one but actually around the middle of the 80s the formula for pop was finally recognised and the likes of Peter Waterman etc started to manufacture pop bands, what with that and the beginning of dancing being as important as the music and the end of artist written material was on its way. Mind you the beast had a twist in its tail cos Oasis are as good as anything ever.. but that's my personal opinion of course!!

  • 1984, best year ever!!! The last of the Classic years!!! Everything went downhill from then on. Largely due to Thatcher and people falling under her spell.

  • Choose Cock

  • @99AlkaSelSeagull99nn

They are the same format with almost identical stories, reeling concentrates on irish affairs. we have the years 1990 - 2009 covered. the beeb wont go beyond 89. It is far from rubbish and gets peak viewing audiences

  • What a place to end... how anticlimactic can you get?

  • shame they haven't got anything like the full set of videos on veoh

  • Better than Rubbish Telefís Éireann's Reeling in the Years series
