@nesronesro I have no formal training, so that's the main difference. Simone is a great singer I agree, but she is very off here. That is a fact and not opinion. Tuning is tuning. Since it is her song after all, I thought maybe perhaps she could sing it better live, but I guess not. I'm not impressed with them live.

@vote4freedom oh, ok... your cover is maybe in tune, nevertheless simone has beutiful color of voice, and i know i will be a bad person, but in my opinion you havent nice color of voice :( she is singing in some live show without prepare maybe and is out of tune, but the color is what we like and we like her. if you will be trying it on first-try somewhere without prepare I dont know how good you will be. and this is old video, simone is live better and better, its 3 years old :)

@skaterboy0077 Indeed. What makes Epica to me is Mark, Simone and Coen. Mostly because they are the main composers in the band. No offense to Yves, Isaac and Ariën. I was kinda disappointed when both Ad and Jeroen left, as they both kinda had something that made Epica what it was. Still, I love the way Epica was back in '02, and I love they way they are now. I'm glad they're experimenting with their music instead of doing the exact same thing over and over. Sorry for the long comment, heh.
