color overlays had various colors

depending on the game.

but I think most people prefer playing

without the overlays.

Best looking version of pole position, seriously! The vector graphics make it look very tron or space like.

Unfortunately for us poor French Vectrex-users, 'Pole Position' was NEVER released here. Too bad we had to stick up to "Hyperace" (which was kind of cool too but not the arcade "franchise" we loved). :)

This is a must own for Vectrex. The quality of animation and graphics are astounding, the sounds are perfect, and it plays so smoothly.

@Extralounge overlays also give the games a background as well....also they might highlight important areas too....

vector = vectorials, same graphics used on polibyus, but with less colours, is weird, but his graphs have a lot of fps

its cool that those cars look like 50's to 60's F1 or indy cars =)

There was something about the sounds in that game made that just drew you in and made you forget everything else going on around you.
