CNET TV - preGame 61: Batman: Arkham City, Sonic Generations

Today on preGame the guys demo Batman: Arkham City and Sonic Generations.



Sonic Generations segment starts at 10:41.

Includes footage of both Sky Sanctuary levels, both Seaside Hill levels, some information about the side missions/challenges, a battle with the Death Egg Sonic 2 Boss, discussions with Aaron Webber regarding the game's various aspects, plus much more.

Certainly worth watching. Looks totally awesome. Me gusta, SEGA. :-D



By the way, I'm not interested in Batman: Arkham City, but I simply wanted to upload this video to YouTube as soon as possible due to all of the Sonic Generations goodness!

I just don't get why they'd make a final boss a regular boss. Case in point Death Egg Robot...(okay I get this one) but what about Perfect Chaos. You're not Super Sonic

@vgman94 The thing is, though, that the Werehog's gameplay, while enjoyable for what it was, was very distinctly un-Sonic. I did find Unleashed daytime gameplay bland, but the thing is the two Modern zones we saw in this video were much more complicated and enjoyable. It's a refreshing change of pace, not to be slowed down by werehogs or Amigo characters or fishing minigames. The very simplicity that you abhor is actually my main reason for enjoying this game!

@NKSPKI If you saw the whole video, besides the levels themselves, it's just platforming and running. They even mentioned the Werehog got a lot of hate, but the thing is the Werehog had 30 moves and good platforming. It added variety. This game is just a fusion of Sonic 3 and Knuckles and Sonic Unleashed's Day gameplay. It's too simple for my tastes. That's why I find it disappointing. It'll have some good points like the bosses, but ultimately, I prefer Arkham City.
