wow, what an incredible speech and an incredible personality. I'm an American, not jewish at all, and quite foreign to internal israeli politics (though familiar with international affiars extensively) and i must say; this gentleman is the future. I see him as PM one day, hopefully he will end the madness of the palestinina conflict and make the world better off. thats my two cents

*Of course you never were a museum. Thats the point he is making!

*These institutions are not dedicated to the destruction of your way of life. They are dedicated to the preservation of the State of Israel. The unfortunate fact is that your way of life is unsustainable in and of itself and requires someone to foot the bill. You yourselves are destroying your way of life by getting rid of the Judaism that required people to work.

*They kept the Torah Mitzvot and Worked!

D- The religious aren’t religious as a counter attack to the non-religious, we are religious because our parents and grandparents passed down this tradition from generation to generation.

E- The non-religious in Israel fast on Yom Kippur for self-respect, because to them that’s what being Jewish is all about. Not out of respect for the Frum, Despite their disrespect for the Frum.

F- I do agree with him that we need some basic survival education, like math, English, sciences etc.

A- Talmud Torah of a simple Kollel guy, does more for Israel’s security than the highest ranking intelligence officer.

B- More Frum (who are not really learning) people would join the Army, if the Army would respect them. And be more accommodating to their religiousness. And for example not punish them for refusing to listen to female soldiers sing.

C- Reb Chaim Kanievsky, Chacham Ovadiah Yosef and Harav Shteinman are not extremist, they simply follow the Torah properly.

לסיכום - כל ההרצאה המעוותת והמורעלת הזאת נועדה למטרה אחת - להפריד את הציבור החרדי ממנהיגיו כדי לתפוס עליהם שליטה... כולם יודעים שברגע שגדולי הדור קבעו משהו אז הוא "יהרג ובל יעבור" ושאין שום כוח ושום חשיבות לכל צד חיצוני שינסה להשפיע עלינו... ובגלל זה יאיר מנסה לשלול מגדולי הדור את האחיזה בנו ואת המנהיגות שלהם במילים יפות כמו "לקיחת אחריות" ו"חשיבה עצמית" כשבעצם ידוע שהוא לא מחפש לתת לנו מחמאות אלא לקחת עלינו פיקוד...
