My band just did this show this year, and we got 2nd place at our cavalcade championships (only 1 point behind 1st). I'm a tenor sax player and I had the solo in the beginning of the 3rd song (the one the soprano sax player had). It was an amazing show - one I know I will never forget - but ours was a bit different than yours - more woodwinds and such, and more on each part if that makes any sense.

Over all okay. I'm a trumpet player and I'm disappointed at the trumpets. And the trumpet solo at the beginning was like cut time?!? Way to effing fast. It's slow, relaxing, yet a bit ominous. Not speedy. A few tears and way too many hits in the music that were like 32 and 16 count holds, in straight lines. My band is a 5A and we're doing it this year so it'll be fun :)

OMG!!!! I love this show so much!!!!!! Cirque Du Soleil is a good show to march, I remember doing La Nouba my freshman year :) and now Quidam! I'm so proud that you won a 1st DIVISION this Saturday at the Berry Center!!!! Congratulations!!! And I'm glad I was able to help out in a short notice of time and to be there for the big news!!!
