John McCain Refers to Czechoslovakia Which No Longer Exists

Another case where McCain gets it wrong on foreign policy, military facts. How can he argue that he'd make a better Commander in Chief if he doesn't know basic historical facts and geography?

Mel7766, obviously a man who was the president of the Harvard Law review knows there aren't 57 states. If you put a mic on someone long enough, they're bound to slip up.

HOWEVER, McCain has repeated this gaff (last time I counted) three times now! It's not a slip up! Come one, already! And again, you find the one gaffe Obama made while McCain makes EMBARRASSING statements like this *daily*! Like him talking about the Pakistan/Iraq border, which they don't even share!

@D12Detoxx - even if I lived there I would accept that the name has changed. in my life many countries and major cities have change names. If we just ignore this and call places whatever we want - then we would all sound like uneducated americans wouldn't we? It's really best to move with the times and stay relevant. Something Mr McCain struggles with.
