USMC = People of the Lie = Malignant Narcissism

This excellent video by YOUTUBE channel anonymous patriot directed at the false civilian religion scientology (Too bad; I love aviator John Travolta and his movie star wife Kelly Preston--I hope they snap out of it) also applies to the false military religion of the USMC!

The video is derived from a book by U.S. Army LTC and Dr. M. Scott Peck called "People of the lie". A perfect description of the USMC! Peck's book is about the characteristics of evil and what constitutes a person or a group--like the USMC--as evil. it is heavily influenced by Christianity, but it goes on to define characteristics of evil and why evil people are considered the "people of the lie".

The late LTC/Dr. Scott Peck, who was a psychologist and a Christian, also defines the differences between mental sickness, human evil and delves slightly into the subject of supernatural demonic possession. The book offers guidelines for diagnosing evil in general. The characteristics are alarmingly similar to the behavior patterns of u.s. marines who are in Peck's Stage II of maturity--just one step above criminals. Doctor Peck explains evil is "militant ignorance", evil people have characteristics as:

* Maintains a high level of "respectability"

* Is consistent in his or her sins. Evil persons are characterized not so much by the magnitude of their sins, but by their consistency

* Is unable to think from other people's viewpoints.

* Often subtle, consistent, destructive scapegoating.

* Excessive, usually covert intolerance to criticism.

* Pronounced concern with public image and denial of vengeful motives.

* Intellectual deviousness with likelihood of mild schizophrenic disturbances when angry.

Most of the 20-somethings in the U.S. military today have authoritarian, materialistic parents whose '60s idealism collapsed for $$$ greed and personal comfort. They had to lie to themselves to get by and choosing the lemming military continues their dependence on authoritiarian parent figures.

Peck writes:

(a child living in the midst of evil) can emotionally survive only by a massive fortification of its psyche. While....essential for survival through childhood, they distort and compromise its life as an adult....Children of evil parents enter adulthood with very significant psychiatric disturbances. To come to terms with evil in one's parentage is perhaps the most difficult and painful psychological task a human being can be called on to face. Most fail and remain its victims. Those who succeed in developing the necessary searing vision are those who can name it. "To come to terms" means to "arrive at the name."

Once we learn what evil is, then we can destroy it. Evil then must be named. Doing so can be enormously frightening. It means that some of us must do battle with a force that wants to destroy us.

@nomorenarcissism I went through the USMC Officer candidate school, and while they do hold integrity and many other great values highly, the Marines themselves are actually not selfless, I think that's very rare that you actually see a selfless Marine except in the heat of battle. I had to drop out after a month because I could sense that they were trying to change the way I thought and acted, to always be violent and in control and to always think that you were right.

I'd read "People of the Lie" a couple of times too (the title leaped off the shelf at me after my such a person blew through my world!)

Hadn't heard of Scientology being characterised quite this way before, but a quick scoot through L Ron Hubbard's (unauthorised) biography makes complete sense of that!

Peck's right; after a close encounter with one of 'em, another is easy to spot. Spooky just HOW brazenly they can create havoc, yet still be thought very well of.
