This is from Saturday 21st May 1988 and the bloke in the Kwik-Fit add (the one on the right at 3:39 who isn't jumping) is John Judd who is better known as the sadistic Mr Sands from the film Scum!

Good collection of adverts from 1988 including the Heineken one with the 'Dulux dog' painting the walls. Of course, the Dulux adverts were still going strong at the time even up to now.
