im really suprized we have this many views.... but just to answer some questions, I didnt cover some stuff just to keep the video short. and I dont personally shoot with any releases or armgaurds or anything. and if you are releasing the string and holding the bow correctly, the string wont hit your arm. and wolfking, the length of time you hold the string back will not add any extra force, the distance you pull the string back will though.
@4rmageddian true he also forgot to tell the more time you hold the bowstring the more weight is put on the back of the arrow and will make it fire faster
You shouldn't practice by firing from the same spot each time. if you do this you will use your first few shots as guiding shots, what you need to do is change the distance every time. This way you will learn to estimate distance, and have better accuracy. Eventually you'll shoot almost on instinct... =)
dude u should of at least used the nice re curve to demonstrate

@4rmageddian i agree thats exactly how i shoot and its a good thing that i do that because i plan to go bowhunting soon

@theFlyingTrumpet actually the more you practice the more your skills become honed in such a way you would become uncanny with the bow

yeah i see what you mean
we were focusing on shooting a score while aiming, because although shooting instinctively is cool, its just not as accurate
thanks for the comment :)
