At that time he couldn't run third party. There are laws preventing him from doing so and even if he somehow got past those laws and gained 99% of the popular vote, he would still lose because the popular vote is shit.

This was six days before Ron Paul announced his not actively campaigning anymore, without an explanation, and when his momentum was so high. To this day, 9/8/2012 (after the RNC nomination given dishonestly to Romney), Paul has not given us an answer as to why he did.

I still feel he was threatened in some way. For Ron Paul to throw in the towel after the nomination when he could've ran 3rd party still, saying he wants to settle & relax now is unlike the fighter that he is.

I don't support 100% of Ron Paul's policies, but he's the closest we've got to a Constitutionalist right now, and we're just voting on President, not Dictator, and it really matters what the majority of folks in USA want for Pres. Not so much who the RNC wants, nor the financial sector, nor Israel, so, we'll get some footage here on TY-crowds at Tampa, and we'll compare that to the rhetoric, and we'll have our representative Constitutional democracy back if we keep on our Senators and Newsies.
