  • Nice video that. Made a few at Cannock myself, but I'm still learning and trying to get creative with mounts etc. What software do you use to edit? I've tried, Pinnacle Studio, Adobe Premiere, AVS and Windows Movie Maker. None of them are perfect and are all missing something.

  • @R0B75 - I have been using Power Director 8 Ultra for the past 18 months and it is not perfect but none of them are unless you can pay out hundreds of pounds. Your footage quality is fine on your stealth but I have found one thing when using helmet camera you need a fixed reference point in the frame. If you watch my one above there is always part of the bike in frame (handle bars, front forks etc..) this seems to allow your brain to understand the movment better on screen.

  • The videos I have taken are on pinkbike, less problems with music copyright.

If you're interested (mrpeaski.pinkbike.com) although most is from Cwm Carn

  • @ThePeaski - I will have a look, I have a Pink Bike Account and most of my videos from last year are on there as I was working for the British National Downhill Series and Caersws Cup as their offical videographer. I also did a lot with the Racers Guild at Cannock Chase.

  • That was really good, great shots of the rider from different angles.

Was it filmed with a single camera? you must have been knackered by the end of all the filming.

  • @ThePeaski - took 8 seperate runs to get all the footage I needed as I only had one camera. Good fun but a long day, thanks for watching.

  • what bike are you riding?

  • @juniorbear9 - That's a good point about the fixed frame of reference and something that didn't occur to me.

  • very nice footage!! Maybe I'll manage to get the confidence/skills/fitness to be able to ride that a smoothly! My footage (not as good quality as that) of that section is awful and will not see the light of day! :D

  • I like that section, along with lower cliff as well. A couple of weeks ago I did some filming from where you were parked, to a bit before your film started then the battery ran out (Contour HD) cos I forgot to recharge it. The footage was quite boring really as there was a lot of climbing. Seeing your film has spurred me on to re-film and see what happens.
