@freekw4 And they also use special 9mm Glocks that are a mix of the real thing and an paintball gun. Anyway. Airsoft offers a cheap and effective alternative to the laser sensor and pointer gear they used to use. Naturally they train with them as well, but at around 30k a set per soldier + maintenance and wear from the elements. It's just cheaper to shoot bb's.

@1212dgriff Okay I was off as to which military branch uses airsoft. however check this article out. airsoft guns are used for military and police training. I'm also not trying to start a fight and I apologize for saying stupid however it annoys me when people can be arrogant. still check out the link its pretty cool stuff. i know how you did it! you slit gash into the gearbox. made some mods to fix the piston to the bolt.... so simple! but if only i can cut through the gearbox..
