It is a to be my privilege and wish to devote myself to sharing the wisdom and rebirth that Iboga brings, having read Coleridge whilst still on Methadone and related to his opium based perspective where all life equates just to a chemical slop, nothing more. My heart sank disparaged that he was right.......

I still find it funny that a martial artist, and neurpharmacology expert, such as yourself - would come out with the "I'll kick your ass" response to a fair comment. The truth is, you feel powerless in your own life, therefore you come on here spewing out all of these ridiculous statements to boost your own ego and give your own self some credibility which you truly lack. By the way, I did answer your "question". There is a difference between the Medical, and Rec. use of such drugs. Got it yet?

Methadone withdrawal can kill you. Heroin can't even do that. One of the most effective detox treatments is Subutex or something similar. It's only a partial agonist, not a full on one and one version of the sublingual treatments, proved among the most statistically effective, is the version that contains the partial agonist buprenorphine with a small amount of a pure antagonist so that it cannot be abused through IV administration. Differing metabolic rates makes it work orally only, no rush.
