There is a revolution going on in the farm fields and on the dinner tables of America, a revolution that is transforming the very nature of the food we eat. THE FUTURE OF FOOD offers an in-depth investigation into the disturbing truth behind the unlabeled, patented, genetically engineered foods that have quietly filled U.S. grocery store shelves for the past decade.

  • It´s absolutely against any morality giving property over life species... It´s even hard to understand how this has became possible... You can own a dog, own a corn´s field, but, how could you own the whole corn in the world? WHO can give you the right for that? IT´S JUST A DIRTY TRICK, THEY ARE JUST STEALING LIFE, STEALING WATER, STEALING EVERYTHING EVEN PEOPLE, BECAUSE THEY ARE PROTECTED BY A HUGE MASSIVE ARMY, THE AMERICAN ARMY, THE NATO...

  • The producer of this documentary seems and the interviewee seem to not understand patents. Patents cover the commercial production of things that have been manufactured. The seeds in question are either genetically modified in a lab or genetically modified naturally by finding a plant in the crops that naturally grows more or survives better and planting the seeds from that plant. Genetic and naturally modified seeds can be patented because the applicant for the patent has modified the seeds

  • The local coop here is selling land plots for community gardens, providing seeds, tilling of soil and direction and when you are done you can sell your extras at their farmer's market for a profit.

Also they are going to have greenhouses to sell and grow food year round and also prevent cross pollinating with gmo crops. I thought this was pretty ingenuous.

It would be nice if every community would cooperatively start something like this.

    They also sell food baskets.

  • lets grow our own start now people it does not take my for us to survive
