  • Michalela, How sweet to see you play! I am so glad to be getting to know your Aunt Carolyn and learning from her. Her studio room is sprinkled with photos of you. You are definitely delightful and I am so glad for you that you have opportunity to be an amazing harpist. How wonderful for your auntie too.....to see you grow in so many ways. Sweet!

  • @donnaearnheart Hello Donnaearnheart, and thankyou for your lovely comment! This is Michaela's mum here and it's great to hear you know Carolyn. Michaela loves her Aunty very much and in many ways wants to grow up just like her, so I am thrilled they get on so well. I will tell Michaela about your delightful comments!

  • ~:) . !YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY BRAVA BRAVA! . (:~

  • @k66omega Is that Spanish? If so, gracias, gracias!!

  • Michaela's deserving of every compliment she gets. It's a shame she hasn't had more views and comments However, comment pales in comparison to the one from Nancy Allen. I'd keep in touch with her.

It's so encouraging in this day and age to see young people so interested in the arts. She's a very lucky girl to have Carolyn for her auntie.

It's been a year and a half since you posted this video. Can I assume she's still studying the harp. What is she, about 10 or 12 years old?

    Cheers.

  • @StumptownBoy Hi and thankyou for your comment. Michaela is my daughter and yes, she is now 11 years old and still loving playing the harp. Would you believe, she now learns harp in Australia from her Aunty Carolyn in North America via Skype, so technology is working wonderfully for us!

  • ..."bravo" is used by both Italian and French audiences - usually of operatic and/or classical performances - which is a cheer that means "good" or a 'more refined (aka "hoity totiy", "upper crust", etc.)' version "hooray"...

...i'd probably be prone to shout "GROOVY"... ;)~

  • @DSCfullback12 Thankyou for your encouragement! I have had trouble with my YouTube account so I apologise for the very late reply, but I really appreciate your making this lovely comment on my daughter's video.

  • Wow , very nice . keep it up .God bless you .

  • You are very kind and I will pass all this on to Michaela in the morning. She will be thrilled! Michaela loves the harp and is sitting her grade 4 exam in late November, so she is working hard at it now. And I have all my fingers crossed!

You are spot on with her age (does that mean you have children?) - she is 10, turning 11 in December, and yes, her auntie is a wonderful inspiration for her.
