"The honest in heart, who feel that the true Kingdom of God ought to have special and powerful credentials, and not just be another voice in the crowd, will not go away disappointed from an examination of the claims and evidences of the Book of Mormon." -Hugh W. Nibley

Thoughtful insights from 32 top scholars continue the journey into the Book of Mormon's thousand-year span, aiding understanding of this sacred text. Mormon's description of the land, religious history, culture, and traditions create a fascinating mosaic. Stunningly beautiful images filmed on location in Guatemala and Mexico combined with the art of Joseph Brickey illuminate the rich culture of the Book of Mormon.

We invite all people everywhere to read the Book of Mormon, to ponder in their hearts the message it contains, and then to ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if the book is true. Those who pursue this course and ask in faith will gain a testimony of its truth and divinity by the power of the Holy Ghost.

Even if i had no proof, i would believe in it. for the simple reason that religion would give bliss, happiness, stability. Even if i kind of wanted to doubt it, i wouldn't. because i finally had a chance to believe, i wouldn't give it up. I want to believe, i just cant suspend logic to do so.

  • @Khhaaan1 Some people claim he is real and some he is not, it is a matter worth of investigating and people are investigating the answer has yet to be found.

If Jesus appeared in my room, i would have no proof but my own memory. Which i admit could be fooled. However, i would not care. Even if it was a really good trick, id let myself believe it is true. why not? bliss, and happiness, security, I would have all those things religion brings. I wan't to believe, but i cant suspend logic to do so.

  • @silversniper231 Some people claimed the Earth was round and others claimed it was flat. It was a matter worth investigating and some people went on to investigate.

Same for religion. Some say it is Islam, others say Judaism, and others Christianity. It is worth investigating. But unlike whether or not the Earth is round, we won't be able to prove it or quantify it. As I mentioned before, if Jesus appeared in your room, you would believe it yourself, but have no proof.

  • @silversniper231 You mignt not doubt it, but you still wouldn't have "proof".

My point was that nobody is going to "prove" a religion to anybody else.

  • @Khhaaan1 My point is that millions of people believed it, yet it was NOT true. Therefore the same could be true for religion.

  • @Khhaaan1 Of course you don't see that happening. You assume you already know what would happen. You think you know, just like you "know" that your religion is true.

Truth is, if Jesus came up to me and said Mormonism, scientology, Satanism, Muslim, heck even Pastafarianism. I wouldn't doubt it. unlike you my mind is open, ready to accept whatever is truth as soon as it shows itself to me. I am not Atheist, contrary to popular Mormon belief.Atheists do not have proof god is NOT real.

  • @silversniper231 "Millions of people once thought the world was flat, is that true?"

Well, the world, because of it's very large diameter, is relatively flat while standing on it and observing what most people can see. What people experienced was just a small part of a larger picture.

Religion throughout history may have some similarities to this.

  • @silversniper231 S: "To any religion that can PROVE to me it is true, i will instantly convert."

I don't see that happening. Even if Jesus were to appear in your room this evening personally... you wouldn't have proof. Maybe you dreamed it or maybe someone slipped something into your drink. You may personally believe it at that point, but you wouldn't have "proof".

  • @Khhaaan1

Millions of people once thought the world was flat, is that true?

I have stated before, most surely not in this video, all i want is the truth. All religions claim to have it, yet none can prove it to me. To any religion that can PROVE to me it is true, i will instantly convert. None have yet to be able to persuade me with logic, all just say "I know" or take it as a personal attack and turn into animals, like LDS up there. I'm glad to see a nice Mormon like you perusing youtube ^_^

  • @LDS4Life71 Oh and hahahah im not even an Atheist. And i don't live in Europe.

Nice try at those insults though ^_^ may i suggest restraint? anger isn't good for anyone
