the cam must be degreed in wrong. i only have the edelbrock intake 70mm throttle body and 24 pnd injectors 3:55s and my first pass with my car (im only 18 first time racing) went a 14.0 on street tires. i put tires on learned how to drive a little bit and went 13.55 @ 101. that car should be alot fast since u have a cam aluminum heads etc. with a crapy tune that car should go faster than that. my car was tuned in 10 min. in my driveway. check how the cam is degreed in. that can make a huge dif.

yea, something is not right. you should be trapping ATLEAST 100mph, and even that would be low for a decent head/cam set up.

Dude thats awesome man i wish i could of been there when you did this.

Listen to xarmy, he's speaking the truth. With aftermarket heads and a cam, you shouldn't be trapping 90 anything mph.
I thought you had heads/cam ETC??
your trap speed is supper low. stock 5.0's trap 90-95 I think

I do. Its called inexperience/street tires/no traction.
I also have to work on my tune. Something is definately off, I should be low 14's, mid 13's easy with this setup.

@freeloader700 unless you where half throttle for the first three gears, i still don't see it traping that low.
im not bashing the car man, ill help you figure it out if i can. pull the KOEO and KOER codes, and take it for a spin being real careful to notice any pinging or anything else making it run odd.

I did hear a little lifter noise the other day, nothing bad so maybe the valves are out of adjustment? I don't even know. I hope not but that can very well be the problem.
ha and I was definately on the throttle
