The awesome heavy metal band Judas Priest performing their classic song 'Painkiller' @ Manchester Apollo, on Saturday 16th July 2011. This video features a small but awesome drum intro by the mighty Scott Travis, which leads nicely into the song, and Oooooh it's bloody good :-D The band were supported on the night by Rival Sons who were very good from the little I saw of them (about 3 songs I think), and the mighty Queensryche who were excellent and really should have had more time to play. Still, a great night was had by all in the packed Apollo theatre. Also I have to say that Richie Faulkner who has replaced the sadly missed legendary guitarist KK Downing was excellent, and other than some technical problems early on in the evening, showed his worth as a very very good guitarist. Also see my other Priest videos from the night, 'Turbo Lover', 'Diamonds And Rust' 'Breaking The Law', and an excerpt of 'You've Got Another Thing Coming'. Enjoy rockers \m/

  • i was at this concert..JP were awesome yet again!! so sad it was the last time....or was it?!!!...lets hope not

  • @MetallMozzo Well, hmm.I thought that maybe dubbing those UK gigs 'the last tour ever', was probably just a clever way of getting everyone to go & see them, a lot of fans didn't bother last time around, as the last album 'Nostradamus' seemed to split the fans down the middle, some loved it, others couldn't stand it, so a lot of people just didn't turn out for the gigs which was a shame, as they should be up there with Maiden & Metallica filling stadiums up each time. I reckon they'll be back \m/

  • Excellent! Thanks for this!

  • @Strokecity1 No problem mate ;)

  • @Ironlord2015 i wanted to go and see them in 2008 or 2009 when ever it as..but my uncle didnt fancy it...i like most of the Nostradamus album..a very powerfull album indeed..next album i want it to sound like early 80`s JP...that would be a great send off if its their last album...I`m not keen on metallica (too commercial) for me but maiden...theyre a good rock band..i say rock band as i dont class them as Heavy Metal...went to see maiden on their Dance of Death tour at M.E.N i enjoyed it
