No irony here at all.

"Royalty free" refers to the fact that after having paid for the initial one-off licensing fee, you're free to use the music in as many unlimited videos without having to pay a recurring license for each new production (the "royalty"). This is how virtually all "royalty free" business models work, whether it's photos, videos or music.
