  • I want one!

  • @JohnDeerePowered The company was founded in 1837 by John Deere, who developed and manufactured the first commercially successful cast-steel plow.

  • @DieselMechanic2008 Better than the look mine gets when it don't start!!!

  • Tellya what Duane, if I ever win the lotto, will $50,000 buy that baby?

  • nice piece of John Deere there

  • an IH woulda started started on a 1/4 crank

  • @TheFarmerfitz My uncle bought a 1947 G brand new which is ten years newer that this one and he is 93 now and still has the G. It has an electric starter. You can see the flywheel turning and the outeredge of the flywheel, unlike this tractor, has teeth on it for the electric starter. Also a 1947 G has a ramped head and a little more horsepower and a 6 speed transmission. But it is a bit faster in low gear.

  • @duanefern maybe some had electric start. The one my dad had never. This was the only way it started other than tow starting it!

  • @DieselMechanic2008 It is always a good feeling when your tractor starts!haha

  • @CAC3414 there is one other option, pull starting, that is, if you have the use of another tractor.
