Video: Security cameras capture moment of Blacksburg High School gym collapse

Video surveillance tapes from Blacksburg High School released this afternoon show at least four men were inside the school when the gymnasium roof collapsed the afternoon of Feb. 13. School officials have said that no one was inside the gym when the roof caved in just after 1:30 p.m. that Saturday.

This security video shows the Blacksburg High School gym collapse from multiple angles. The top two angles, along with the bottom-left view, show the collapse from inside the cafeteria building. The bottom-right view shows the collapse from the entrance to the gym.

I'm not really surprised. Another part of the school was built on a sinkhole and it has been in need of repairs anyways. I feel sorry for the current students and teachers!
