How do you instal the EL wire on you clothes ??! ! !
Hellppp ! ! thx
SirBenett 1 year ago
@SirBenett Well, the el isn't in our cloths. we wired them through plastic using a glue gun where it needed to be secured. We tried doing the el through material before, however it is difficult to do as well as bad for the wire. If the wire can bend, it will break. Best way is to attach it to a hard or less flexible surface to ensure the least amount of movement of the wire. If you want to know more, write back and i'll give you my number if you have any other questions. Good luck.

@lethalpickle thank you for the advice ! Just another question : : : Can i cut the El Wire into several pieces ?
SirBenett 1 year ago
@SirBenett Yes and no. You would knoe how to soder an inverter onto the wire that doesn't have the invertor already attached. There are you-tube videos to show how to do this. Good luck!

Dude. This is amazingly awesome! Do you mind if I use your designs for inspiration at Burning Man this year?
how did you power all that? Seems like a lot of wire. I'm guessing 1 pack for helmet, another for body and...a few for arms?

@BoogeymanPLUR Thanks for the props, and please use anything you can for your own ideas. All i ask is that i get to see it! Lot's of battery packs (inverters). 1 in helmet, 7 for main body including sides, 4 for arm's and legs. =)
