He was only a HC for 8 years, 9 if you count the year he spent building the GSU program. To be in the HOF you have to be a HC for 10 years.
Waivers can be gotten for that though and the process has already begun. Erk is on his way to his rightful place in the HOF.

Thank-you. The players have had a lot of
great stories to tell about the 1980 season, their coaches & teammates.
They've stayed very close over the years and have an amazing story to tell.
