My food is alive!

This is the freshest sushi I've ever eaten. If you notice, the fishest face, this flatfish is still breathing! And the sushi is right on top. It is sliced so thin that it is clear.

Hmm.. a live fish with the food on top. I don't see anyone eating anything that's still alive. Sushi looks nice, never seen it cut so thin.

Actually, the fresh sushi on top of the fish was from the body of the fish that was still moving. So, yes, the fish was still alive. This is a very common, but expensive meal in Japan.

Yeah, a halibut is a type of flat fish where I am from. Whatever it is, I bet it was probably as expensive as it was delicious.
