thank God for traditional gospel singers. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with the contemporary gospel music. But, the traditional gospel stirs up somethihg in your soul. I love it and it is what I listened to when I was a young child and even now as a grandmother. It's the old gospels that stil stir my soul.

It's a blessing to hear this. It brings back beautiful memories of when my mother used to sing this song at the wooden church we attended during my childhood. She too, like Roberta had that beautiful full contralto voice. God called mama home on Sun. Jan.9, 2011. Let's keep my mom, Roberta and other gospel singers alive in our memories and for generations to come, by never letting these songs die. I'll sing a few new ones but I will sing the old soul stirring gospel until I can't anymore.

Mama used to get on the piano at home and just began to play and sing this song when I was a little girl. What a blessing to hear this again. This is when gospel was truly real. Thank you so much for posting.

Thank you for posting this. My mothers favorite song. She would sing this to me when I was a young boy. I havent heard this song in years. With tears falling from my eyes; this song made my day. Thank you!
