Promotional Film leading up to the release of Chess Grand Master Simon Williams' new DVD 'The Classical Dutch' due to be released at the Hastings Chess Tournament in December 2009.

Footage includes Chess at Trafalgar Square, Chess Boxing and games with UK Chess Team 'The Drunken Knights'.

@dragonheadofthewest - You'll have to ask Simon directly as I'm just the editor. You'll also be pleased to know the top-down shot was taken out after the Killer Dutch DVDs.

Killer Dutch is on Sale now, as is the Killer French Defence, and coming very shortly indeed we will be releasing 'Killer Endgames' with GM Nick Pert! Following from that, we have 'Killer Grand Prix' with Gawain Jones, and Simon and myself will be working on something very special before the end of the month!

if anyone has seen the dvd... cant white in the joe gallagher vs simon williams game in the isle of man tournament just simply win a pawn after bishop takes f5 with taking on d5?? i know he said the tactics work in favour of black but it would still be nice if someone could explain that to me

Great tuturial in my opninion. I remember the name of the chessgames database. He played the rare hammerschlag opening against Martin Simons and won. :)
