I definitely agree that his life was a hard one, but I still can't fully forgive him of everything that he did. I mean, there were lots of characters that had hard lives in FFVII, but they still didnt do the things he did. But yeah, I do know why you would be willing to overlook his faults; his life was really messed up. Im gonna delete my old post now though because its only going to upset Cloud fans :D

Its somewhat understandable that cloud is 'emo'
I mean if the guy you looked up to, yet hardly had a chance to get to know, carried you for four years while you were out of it, only to be gunned down so you'd have a chance to live his life for you you'd be pretty bummed too...
I think Cloud's story after Advent children will be much better to be honest. :)
