powerful lyrics and music - seems to be absent in todays music! first time heard in 25 years and yet still hum the tune along as it made such an impression at the time. in my early 80s music mixing days had the 12" and think there were 4 versions of this on it - look forward to someone uploading them

I think it was from a snooker commentary. One of the balls was reffered to as 'kissing the pink'.
