I heard a while back that a sam cooke film was to be made possibly starring Denzel Washington. But i cant find anything on it, anyone else heard of this or know any news on this project?

Denzel Washington. If he can only portray Sam Cooke as well as he did Malcolm X, he should stay well clear.
