@TokeBoat just keep your eyes peeled for the red and white stripes they can be found on rocks on trees on poles just about anywhere, don't follow the red and white x we started walking about 6/7 am and got to our next destination about 6 hours later, happy journey...

hi i am planning a 5 day walk on the gr10 from hendaye to st jean pied de port my partner and daughter are going to meet me at the end of each day with our campervan did you find the trail well sign posted and how long did you walk each day ie time and distance would be gratefull for any tips

@TokeBoat Hi, Trail is very well marked by red/white strip markers along the way, together with signposts at most junctions. Country not severe or technically difficult, but steep descent to Bidarray - not good in wet weather. Poss to go down valley as we did. Most sections are 6/7 hours of walking, apart from Crete d'Iparla - whole traverse from Bidarray to St Etienne would take about ten hours or so; suggest you drop off, as we did, at Col d'Harrieta and go to Urdos.
