  • People...if we unite we can still bring about change. Knock on your neighbors doors and invite the unemployed, disenfranchised,etc..among you to meet and discuss how WE can bring about change. Don't trust any politicians. Whomever has the best interests of the community at heart...vote them into office. If you can't trust what is out there, find the right people and help them find a place where they can help you.

  • Where are those voices? I just got back from an appointment with Human Resources Administration on 16th Street. You MUST participate in a bulls!@t back-to-work program or else we will sanction you and close your case. Do people actually know that welfare is just another way for the powerful to keep everyone else at their mercy? Tell me bloomy: what is your solution? Of course, you can fly to Bermuda and escape reality whenever you like....but, what about the rest of us?

  • Look at the many responses that have come about due to this video. Where is everyone that can relate to this poor woman's plot to change her circumstances? That is the problem. I bumped into this video seeking answers as to why as a New Yorker do I have to suffer so much? Ted Williams and his golden voice was an attempt to fool the rest of us that the american dream is .....still alive. It was a bone thrown at the beginning of the year just to calm the masses.

  • Where is bloomberg and all the other rich and powerful elite that run this city for their own advantages? This looks like one of those third-world commercials asking the viewer to go along with another community jobs bill that will only fill the pockets of non-profits ....and forget about this poor woman. We need to recognize that obama, bloomberg, all of the above will not do anything for poor/middle class America. We must come together for ourselves and determine our destiny.
