  • P.S - If you read this I am on FB. Name is Eleanor Cusick.

  • Hi Michael,

I believe we are first cousins. I am the daughter of your grandmother's sister. Your grandmother was Stella. My mother was Gus, the youngest sister. The other sisters were Mae and Rose. Mae was Steven's mother. I met your father a few times and adored your mom, who used to send me gifts that little girls would like regularly when I was a child. Dorothy was my first cousin, though all grown up by the time I was a kid.

  • To all those close to Jerry please know that Jerry was loved. He was a great man, a genius. I miss him to this day.

  • @sharpasaneraser Thanks for your kind words. I learned a great deal from him about how to treat people. He was the quintessential people person. I hope I am successfully pasing that along to my two young sons - the grandkids he never got to meet.

  • @michaelmmjj0906 thanks for letting me (and everyone else) in on this. he was a character in the best sense of the word and was a war hero to boot. you are rightfully proud. do you have your father's incredible work ethic? not all larger than life characters are from new yawk.
