The dubbing was a big mistake but, then again. If she didn't know much French I guess they had no choice. Her voice is beautiful, and they probably had to do the last thing they wanted to by dubbing. Saunders, you are as much of a brilliant serious actor as you are a comedian and writer. You keep doing all these different parts, writing shows and I simply cannot do anything else but love every single one of them. You are a real heroine, you make us British proud.

Around 2:50. He asks if there is some food. And then she says (the real Jen I think) "I think there´s only porridge and jelly!" (haha it was English enough for her to say.)

Playing the cello and driving a car. Pretty much the same thing!

Looking good as a cellist! (forgets to do vibratos. Otherwise very credible.) But not her voice! (silly. Diminishes the magic. But I DO think it is her voice at 2:51-53.)

Too bad it's not her real voice, yet she did act in French. Does anybody know if there's a version where I can hear her speak French ?

Supposedly, if the British accent is so disgusting to French filmmakers, then they shouldn't hire British actors. Jennifer is comedic gold. If they can't get that, then they should stuff it!
